Shane DeAugustinis joined J.S. Held in 2021. Shane specializes in Project Management under LSRP oversight for remedial site investigation and action at contaminated sites throughout New Jersey and New York. Shane has vast experience in preparing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments and Preliminary Assessment reports for due diligence and regulatory compliance. Shane has five years of experience in the industry utilizing AutoCAD and creating GIS-based figures and drawings. Shane also coordinates IAQ and ACM Surveys, as well as remedial investigation and action activities at commercial/industrial, residential, and educational facilities.
Leah DeEgidio is a Project Manager in the Environmental, Health & Safety practice line, specializing in NJDEP Site Remediation Program (SRP) projects throughout New Jersey. She specializes in Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments for due diligence projects, mostly in commercial real estate. Leah’s experience during her six years in the industry also includes residential projects and large industrial projects, as well as asbestos, mold, and lead surveys and abatement projects throughout the United States.
Salvatore DeLucia joined J.S. Held in 2021. Salvatore is a Project Manager in the Environmental, Health & Safety service line, specializing in NJDEP Site Remediation Program (SRP) projects throughout New Jersey. Salvatore specializes in Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments for due diligence projects, mostly in the commercial real estate sector. Salvatore can also perform IAQ Surveys and coordinate ACM and LBP surveys.
Matthew Krippahne joined J.S. Held in 2021. Matthew specializes in Phase I Environmental Assessments and Preliminary Assessments for industrial, educational, retail, commercial, and residential facilities. He has also performed Phase II Field Studies, including soil and groundwater sampling, well installations, and hydrogeological and sensitive receptor studies. Among his experiences, Matt has coordinated and supervised field activities for site investigations and remedial investigations at contaminated sites throughout New Jersey and New York. He has developed investigation and remediation strategies, as well as cost estimates for budgetary purposes. Matt has the necessary skills to prepare reports and work plans for regulatory submittal, including site investigation, remedial investigation, groundwater monitoring, air quality reports, remedial action / investigation work plans, deed notices, and other related documents.
Renata Ontman has been an experienced Environmental Scientist in our Environmental, Health & Safety practice since 2019, throughout the United States and Canada. Her expertise includes conducting site investigations, preparing ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Preliminary Assessments, remedial and expert reports, performing environmental due diligence inspections, and monitoring remedial projects in the New Jersey and New York area under the oversight of an LSRP. She primarily focuses on commercial and industrial properties with multi-contaminant impacts. Renata also performs various environmental media sampling, including soil sampling, air sampling, sub-slab vapor sampling, and free product monitoring.
Chris Rotondi is a licensed site remediation professional and project manager in J.S. Held's Environmental, Health & Safety practice. He specializes in NJDEP Site Remediation Program (SRP) projects in New Jersey and Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments for due diligence, primarily in commercial real estate.
Marzena Sobilo joined J.S. Held in 2021. Marzena has conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, including report preparation in accordance with ASTM Standards, as well as Preliminary Assessments and Indoor Environmental Health Assessments. Marzena has also coordinated and supervised asbestos surveys/abatement, lead surveys/abatement, mold surveys/abatement, performed vapor intrusion surveys and Phase II Subsurface Investigations, including installation of soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells, and screening of soil samples for evidence of field contaminations. Marzena specializes in all mandatory reports, including the preparation of detailed boring logs and data summary tables, deed notices, biennial inspections, air quality reports, and other related documents. With all this experience, Marzena is qualified to oversee remediation projects and manage client and regulatory agency interactions.
Sambhav Varshney joined J.S. Held in 2021. Sambhav is an Environmental Scientist specializing in environmental site assessments and report presentation. In his roughly one year in this role, Mr. Varshney has helped over 50 residential, commercial, educational, and industrial facilities with environmental site assessments as per ASTM E1527-13 industry standards. Mr. Varshney specializes in subsurface investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling, underground and aboveground storage tank inspections, asbestos abatement, mold remediation, indoor air quality assessment, and drafting AutoCAD figures for soil and groundwater investigation. Previously, Mr. Varshney worked as a site engineer in constructing a 24 MW hydropower plant in India.
