He holds a Master of Science degree in Public Health (MSPH) in the subspecialty of Industrial Hygiene and Safety from the University of Washington. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH, a Canadian credential). He is also licensed as a Texas Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) and a Florida Mold Assessor.
