Nancy Gunderson is a technical and scientific Research Librarian at J.S. Held. She has a Master of Library and Information Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington.
Nancy provides
scientific and technical library research and reference support for toxicology,
risk assessment, and health litigation. She provides reference services, which
include verifying citations, locating obscure and unique documents, and contacting
professional associations, government, public, and university libraries for
reference materials. Nancy has experience and networks to facilitate collection
development, including the purchase of new materials that meet the needs of
clients and staff. She has also undertaken and supervised the cataloging of
hundreds of new articles, journals, and books and maintains a physical and
digital library. Nancy specializes in the setup and use of EndNote
bibliographic software and provides user training to facilitate collection
access.
Nancy has her
Washington State Librarian Certification and is a member of the Washington
Library Association.
