Clara Chan has worked in toxicology since 2003, evaluating chemical toxicities and health effects. She manages and is a consultant for projects in toxicology, risk assessment, personal injury litigation, consumer product safety, and indoor air quality/mold assessment. She has supported clients in composing safety data sheets and deriving occupational exposure limits and permissible daily exposure limits. She has supervised client-sponsored laboratory testing of consumer products in North America and Hong Kong. She has experience analyzing and interpreting consumer product safety testing results. Clara’s native language is English, and she is fluent in Chinese (Cantonese).
Clara holds a master’s degree in toxicology, is certified by the American Board of Toxicology, and is a Registered Toxicologist with both the United Kingdom and EUROTOX. She is a Senior Project Manager and Toxicologist in the Environmental Health & Safety practice at J.S. Held. She manages and consults on projects related to toxicology, risk assessment, personal injury litigation, consumer product safety, indoor air quality/mold assessment, safety data sheet authoring, and derivation of exposure limits.
