James "Jim" Yasitis joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Jim and his partner operated Environmental Consultants, LLC for over 20 years in the Midwest. Jim has worked in the environmental field for over 36 years with specific experience in the environmental building sciences. Jim specializes in asbestos, lead, mold, indoor air quality, and remediation/abatement. Jim has worked throughout the United States during his career in the industry, working with large nationwide firms and small local boutique firms. Jim has helped start and maintain several environmental consulting and training companies, as well as one abatement/remediation firm. Jim has worked in all phases of the abatement/remediation process, from completing and supervising actual remediation projects; initial AHERA school inspections/management plans in 1988; developing an environmental consulting/training firm, and owning an abatement firm; managing and estimating for large local and national abatement firms; development of an environmental consulting firm in California; and management of environmental departments for large national environmental firms. Jim is an approved EPA, Missouri, and Illinois trainer as well.
Jeffry Faust joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Jeffry co-founded Environmental Consultants, LLC in 2003. Jeff has over 30 years of experience with clients spanning sectors, including education (both K - 12 and higher education), healthcare, commercial and corporate, and Federal clients including the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy. Amanda Weir has 20 years of experience as an environmental consultant. She specializes in complex projects related to the response, assessment, design, and project management of disasters such as catastrophic flooding, hurricanes, fires, and wind damage. She also has extensive experience evaluating environmental hazards in the built environment, including asbestos, lead paint, and bacterial and microbial contamination.
Franco Seif, PE, CAC, joined J.S. Held in May of 2026 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Clark Seif Clark, Inc.
Sabrina S. Trusty has over ten years of experience in assessments of environmental hazards such as mold damage, asbestos, lead inspections, and other hazards. Sabrina’s involvement in these projects includes the initial inspection and collection of samples, interpretation of analytical results, development of written reports, operations and maintenance plans, and remediation protocols. Sabrina has additional experience with 24 Part 58 Environmental Records Review, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, water and soil sampling, industrial hygiene, and occupational safety. Sabrina has performed her work for commercial and residential entities domestically and internationally for general renovations or after catastrophes.
Erica Plaisance is an environmental and safety specialist with extensive project experience in assessing indoor and outdoor air quality, water quality, soil contamination, fire and smoke damage, water and mold damage, asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, Chinese drywall, and other contaminants. Her role involves initial and follow-up field assessments, sample collection and data interpretation, research, and developing audits, reports, scopes of work, restoration/remediation protocols, and operations/maintenance plans. Erica also handles project monitoring, document review, and project management.
W. Adam McGreevy has 25 years of professional experience in industrial hygiene, safety, lead, and environmental remediation. Adam has expertise in industrial hygiene, OSHA and EPA-compliant employee training, and supervision of all construction-related safety issues and training, including lead health and safety, fall protection, scaffolding, electrical safety, fire protection, and all other OSHA-related safety regulations. Adam has experience in monitoring for hazardous materials and compliance with OSHA Permissible Exposure Limits, as well as ambient air monitoring and compliance with EPA National Ambient Air Quality Standards. As the area lead for J.S. Held’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team in the New York region, Adam supervises and coordinates all environmental assessments, including mold assessments, combustion-by-product contamination inspections stemming from fire losses, lead-based paint inspections, lead-based paint risk assessments, as well as, all other environmental and industrial hygiene services conducted by his team members and requested by clients.
James Harvey has almost twenty years of professional experience in industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental remediation. James has expertise in industrial hygiene, OSHA compliance, site safety inspections, and evaluations in compliance with all OSHA and EPA regulations for worker health and safety and hazardous waste management. He has experience monitoring ambient air quality and compliance with the EPA’s National Ambient Air Quality Standards for TSP-lead and PM-10 respirable dust and visible emissions. He also has experience composing lead health and safety plans (LHASPs) and site health and safety supervision, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and personal hygiene/work practices. James has expertise in environmental testing, such as sampling for soil, water, hazardous waste, settled dust, paint, airflow, and noise. He can also interpret and analyze laboratory data.
