Jason Shorr specializes in industrial hygiene and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management and consultation. With over fifteen years of professional experience, Jason provides consulting and expert services for a diverse range of clients. He has performed hundreds of environmental assessments, including mold assessments, asbestos inspections, water and smoke damage assessments, lead-based paint risk assessments, indoor air quality monitoring, and infection control risk assessments (ICRA).
Jason has assisted in multiple catastrophe and emergency response projects, including Superstorm Sandy (2012), Hurricane Ida (2021), and Hurricane Ian (2022).
As a Project Manager in J.S. Held’s Environmental Health & Safety practice in the New York region, Jason manages projects and performs environmental assessments. These include mold assessments, moisture and thermal imaging assessments, asbestos inspections and investigations, lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments, smoke damage assessments, infection control risk assessments (ICRA), and indoor air quality assessments. Jason also interprets and analyzes laboratory data to prepare technical reports for his clients.
