Evan Yasitis joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Evan Yasitis is involved in estimating, project management, and onsite project monitoring. He has extensive involvement in numerous inspections, project management, and indoor air quality investigations.
Stephenee Huggans joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Stephenee started her career as a summer intern at St. Louis Public Schools. There, she was responsible for hazardous materials record keeping, drinking water sampling, indoor air quality assessments, and other various hazardous materials work.
Tyler Smith is an Industrial Hygienist at J.S. Held, with a primary focus on environmental health. Before joining J.S. Held, he worked at a disinfection lab where he conducted and assisted research on the biological water contaminant, Cryptosporidium parvum, and as a surgical assistant throughout North Carolina. His primary responsibilities include exposure history review, technical writing, site inspections, sampling, and other project-related tasks.
Eric Koltes is an experienced environmental consultant with over 27 years of experience serving various clients. His expertise ranges from basic due diligence to complex remedial investigation, feasibility, cleanup action planning, and remedial implementation. Eric's experience includes working on large natural gas facilities, complex spill response and cleanup, supporting property redevelopment, working at numerous agrichemical facilities, and litigation support.
Thales Cheng is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with over 10 years of consulting experience in industrial hygiene, exposure assessment, toxicology, human health risk assessment, and emergency response matters.
Marissa Venn has experience in various project settings, providing litigation support for testifying experts and planning and conducting environmental monitoring to assess chemical exposures in workplaces and communities.
Paul Luat is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with experience in consulting and environmental data collection. Specifically, Paul provides consultation on human health risk analysis, exposure assessment, and hazard communication to clients throughout the United States. He also has experience in emergency field responses concerning railroad derailments, moisture mapping, wildfire assessments, health and safety program consultation, and community exposure. Paul has experience supporting litigation projects concerning railroad exposures, talc powder, asbestos, and impairment cases. This includes a review of scientific literature, project management, and data compilation.
Kathryn Thompson is a Senior Health Scientist specializing in human health risk assessment, exposure assessment, and ambient air quality. With over a decade of experience, she manages projects involving exposure and human health risk assessment of chemicals in various occupational, environmental, and consumer product settings. She has experience conducting air and water quality sampling in community, occupational, and emergency response settings.
