Jeff McCurdy is a Project Manager with over 12 years of experience in environmental remediation, specializing in complex multi-media, multi-contaminant cases. Jeff began his career in environmental remediation in 2008 with Brennan Environmental, Inc., which joined the J.S. Held family in February 2020.
Nicholas "Nick" Potkalesky is a Senior Project Manager with over 18 years of experience in environmental remediation. He specializes in complex remedial cases at commercial and industrial properties where many contaminants and areas of concern must be addressed. He also works on legacy sites to achieve regulatory compliance. While working with an incredibly talented team from the Summit, New Jersey office, it is his privilege to help clients navigate the dynamic landscape of environmental compliance.
Diana Gonzalez specializes in clerical tasks, including filing, customer care, and data entry. She can exceptionally handle change and manage multiple priorities.
Danielle Pomponio is an Environmental Scientist / Industrial Hygienist specializing in environmental due diligence, site investigation, and remediation for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Sydnie has a background in public health, toxicology, and basic science. Before joining J.S. Held, she was a Graduate Research Assistant at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where she was involved in toxicology, climate, and housing enrichment research.
Evan Venice is a Project Manager in the Environmental, Health & Safety service line, specializing in NJDEP Site Remediation Program (SRP) projects throughout New Jersey. Mr. Venice also specializes in Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for due diligence projects, mostly in the commercial real estate sector. Mr. Venice’s experience during his seven years in the industry also includes residential projects and large industrial projects, as well as asbestos, mold, and lead surveys and abatement projects throughout the United States.
Rodrigo Delgado has extensive experience with property damage from catastrophic loss, including fire, smoke, and water, as well as assessing regulated materials such as asbestos, lead, and mercury, which may be disturbed due to the loss or during renovation in various sectors such as residential, hospitality, and industrial. Additionally, as an Associate Safety Professional, Rodrigo has a strong commitment to safety performance. He has extensive experience in illicit drug and methamphetamine contamination assessments, having completed over 100 drug contamination inspections throughout the United States. Mr. Delgado is a licensed Mold Assessor/consultant in both Texas and Florida.
Kathryn Messler has been an environmental professional since 2023 and is passionate about protecting our environmental resources. She has studied and researched many environmental impacts throughout her career. Her experiences include conducting site inspections and investigations, preparing environmental assessment reports, reviewing analytical data, sample collections, and remedial site monitoring under an LSRP in New Jersey. Kathryn has conducted field activities, including environmental media sampling, air monitoring, sub-slab vapor sampling, and free product monitoring for remedial activities.
Alexis Turner joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Alexis started her career as a summer intern at St. Louis Public Schools. There, she was responsible for hazardous materials recordkeeping, drinking water sampling, indoor air quality assessments, and other hazardous materials work for over 3 years.
