Alexis Turner joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC.
Alexis Turner started her career as a summer intern at St. Louis Public Schools. There she was responsible for hazardous materials record keeping, drinking water sampling, indoor air quality assessments, and other various hazardous materials work for over three years.
Alexis Turner is a Capital Projects Coordinator for the St. Louis Public Schools and is responsible for helping SLPS with their large, special projects – i.e. the ESSER fund capital expenditures under the IRA, Prop S, etc.
As a Project Coordinator for Environmental Consultants, LLC, Alexis has successfully participated in activities at the St. Louis Public Schools, including hazardous materials record-keeping inspections for asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous chemicals; lead in drinking water sampling; indoor air quality assessments; flood inspections; ESSER fund work to promote virus mitigation and improve indoor air quality; and bond issue work designed for school building improvements.
