Tim Masten is a Certified Safety Professional with over 15 years of experience and a strong commitment to safety performance. Tim has been recognized for cultivating a safety culture in several difficult environments through modeling safe behavior, positive reinforcement, and striving for continuous improvement. Tim has extensive experience instructing safety training and developing and implementing training programs. He routinely conducts safety audits, monitoring facilities and processes for adherence to OSHA guidelines while recommending corrective measures to prepare for OSHA safety audits and investigations. Tim is highly effective at conducting accident investigations, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Tim consistently displays excellent leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Tim has also performed duties as an on-site safety manager for several construction projects, managing as many as 350 workers at one time. Tim’s duties included performing company safety orientation and site-specific training for all new site workers, developing and communicating mitigation strategies for all project-identified hazards, coordinating with subcontractors and keeping records of required documentation and safety training, conducting incident investigations as needed, including root cause analysis, interviews, and prevention of repeat occurrences, inspecting and evaluating the project site equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations, company and owner policies and procedures. His other duties include performing weekly project safety audits, utilizing findings to develop a site safety culture, collecting and maintaining records of safety documentation for each subcontractor, which includes daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), equipment safety inspections, and weekly toolbox talks, formulating and implementing policies, procedures, and programs on construction safety that comply with OHSA regulations and utilizing multiple safety resources and ensuring implementation of the correct safety policies and procedures.
