He demonstrated successful experience in the environmental field, specializing in industrial hygiene and earth science-related issues. To date, Jacob has performed and/or assisted in completing numerous investigations, inspections, and project design and oversight within the asbestos, indoor air quality, and mold projects.
Jeffrey Flye is an Environmental Health and Safety professional with over six years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance. His work focuses on ensuring safe, compliant environments by assessing and managing hazardous materials, air quality, and environmental risks across diverse project settings.
Joseph Bruener joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Joseph is involved in asbestos bulk sampling and lead and asbestos abatement projects in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana, overseeing mold remediation projects, indoor air quality inspections, and water sampling throughout the Midwest.
Lars Johansson joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Lars specializes in industrial hygiene, environmental site assessments/due diligence, and earth science-related issues. He has performed and/or assisted in completing numerous investigations, inspections, and project design and oversight within the asbestos, indoor air quality, and hazardous material fields.
Tracy Henley joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Ms. Henley has demonstrated successful experience in the environmental field, specializing in industrial hygiene and earth science-related issues. To date, Ms. Henley has performed and/or assisted in completing numerous investigations, inspections, project design, and oversight within the asbestos, indoor air quality, mold, and construction projects.
Devon Rathbun joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Prior to joining J.S. Held, Mr. Rathbun served as an Environmental field technician for Environmental Consultants, LLC, working in the environmental field, specializing in industrial hygiene and earth science-related issues. Mr. Rathbun assisted in the completion of investigations, inspections, and oversight within the asbestos, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality projects.
Harper Burkeen joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. He has over four years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance. He specializes in air quality assessments, asbestos and lead inspections, and environmental project management, supporting workplace safety and regulatory adherence.
Maxwell Trotter joined J.S. Held in September of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Environmental Consultants, LLC. Maxwell works in the environmental field, specializing in industrial hygiene and earth science-related issues. He assists in completing numerous investigations, inspections, and oversight within the asbestos, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality projects. He is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in environmental studies at McKendree University.

Dr. Kelly Scribner Tuttle is a board-certified toxicologist (DABT) and industrial hygienist (CIH) with over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience in the fields of occupational toxicology, chemical emergency response, human and environmental toxicology, industrial hygiene, crisis communication, human health and ecological risk assessment, and exposure assessment. Dr. Tuttle has provided technical expertise for multiple projects involving chemical exposures in occupational, environmental, and consumer settings.
