Tiffany Wognaih joined J.S. Held in May of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of Africa Matters Limited (AML). She has a strong understanding of African political economy issues with specialism in the areas of monetary and fiscal policy. Tiffany supports the team's work across the continent with a particular focus on Francophone West and Central Africa.
Diantha Gonzales has more than 10 years of practice experience in pharmacy and more than 20 years of consulting experience in toxicology. She has worked as a pharmacist in retail and hospital settings as well as for the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. In her clinical practice, she has experience with a wide variety of patient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, pregnant, geriatric, and Medicaid patients, as well as pharmacy economics and operations. Diantha has consulted on personal injury litigation, assessing adverse effects of medications and medication interactions. She has also completed graduate training and coursework in Molecular and Environmental Toxicology.
Carrington Retzios is an Environmental Scientist specializing in environmental due diligence and site investigation and remediation for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. With a solid foundation in geospatial analysis, satellite imagery interpretation, and database development, Carrington has effectively applied his expertise to various projects. At Monmouth University, Carrington conducted extensive fieldwork soil survey research, with a focus on predictive modeling and data analysis.
Jake Twill is an experienced environmental scientist with a diverse background in on-site sampling, investigations, and long-term monitoring for environmental remediation and mitigation projects across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. After graduating from Ursinus College with an Environmental Studies degree in 2020, Jake began his career as a field ecologist and environmental scientist with an ecological restoration firm, where he performed site investigations and technical reports for large and small-scale environmental mitigation projects. He has supported a diverse portfolio of projects through intensive data collection, analysis, and detailed environmental report writing.
Ethan is an engineer specializing in environmental site investigation and remediation for commercial and industrial properties. With an educational background in chemical engineering, Ethan brings a unique expertise to various projects. At the Colorado School of Mines, he acted as a research assistant on fuel cells and electrolysis projects and modeled large-scale processes. He earned a deep understanding of unit operations and thermodynamics.
James Beix specializes in food-related emergency responses including foodborne outbreak investigations, product traceback investigations, product recall management, and recall efficacy checks. With nearly 20 years of experience, Jim has led food-related emergency responses at the municipal, county, and statewide levels as well as coordinated state responses within a federal response framework. He has also managed and coordinated the food and recreational safety consumer complaint system for the State of Wisconsin.
