Dana Cubanski is a Project Manager/Environmental Scientist at J.S. Held with over ten years of experience in toxicology, human and environmental health, exposure assessment, and chemical emergency response. She has extensive management experience for projects related to occupational and environmental toxicology.
Dr. Kristine A. Tucker, MD, MS, FACEP, is a physician consultant and toxicologist. Dr. Tucker is trained in the fields of emergency medicine and toxicology, with more than 20 years of experience as an emergency physician and more than 30 years of experience in toxicology. She has practiced and taught in academic and community hospital emergency departments, including Level I Trauma centers, urban/suburban/rural community hospitals, and remote critical access hospitals. Her scope of clinical practice includes but is not limited to the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment/resuscitation of cases related to trauma, sepsis, cardiac arrest, stroke, poisonings/overdoses, infectious diseases, and oncologic, pediatric, obstetric, and psychiatric emergencies. Dr. Tucker also has extensive clinical experience with exposures related to toxic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and polypharmacy, illicit drug exposures, and overdoses, as well as occupational and environmental exposures. Dr. Tucker has provided expert services as a consulting physician and toxicologist.
Dr. Heather Klintworth specializes in human health risk assessments for a variety of chemicals, including personal care products, pharmaceuticals, and pesticides. Dr. Klintworth provides technical assistance in legal cases regarding toxicological exposures to drugs, alcohol, and other chemical and biological constituents. This includes defining toxicity, hazard and risk, dose-response evaluation, duration of exposure, and evaluation of toxicity data to assess the likelihood of adverse effects. Dr. Klintworth conducts comprehensive toxicity assessments for extractables / leachables in drug products for use in regulatory submissions using available toxicological data, read-across strategies, and QSAR analysis. She also conducts risk assessments for Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) and Letter of No Objection regulatory submissions to the US FDA and Health Canada, respectively.
Dr. Baylor Steele is a toxicologist with expertise in evaluating the potential human health and ecological effects of exposure to various chemicals, including pesticides, industrial compounds, metals, and pharmaceuticals. He has training and experience in conducting risk assessments, performing cancer and non-cancer hazard evaluations, preparing product safety assessments, and performing chemical exposure assessments. Dr. Steele has provided toxicology and risk assessment support for environmental remediation, product registration, regulatory rulings, and contaminated land investigation.
Dr. Clint Miller is a Senior Technical Director at J.S. Held, specializing in geochemistry and hydrogeology. He provides consulting and expert services for various public and private-sector clientele throughout the United States. He has led international projects onshore and offshore in the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, the Republic of the Philippines, the East Siberian Sea, the Republic of China (ROC), and the Hellenic Republic.
Amanda Ragatz specializes in water resources, environmental permitting, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting strategies, Clean Water Act (CWA) 316(b) regulations and compliance, geographic information systems (GIS), biological monitoring, ESG services, and sustainability. With 14 years of experience, Ms. Ragatz provides consulting and expert services related to project planning and development, regulatory permitting, and permit compliance.
Luke Erdley serves as a project technician, traveling to support major remediation efforts and wetland delineations while providing multidisciplinary field expertise across environmental assignments. He has experience in soil and groundwater remediation, supporting projects involving hazardous chemical transfers, environmental cleanup activities, and the transport of dangerous materials. This also includes horizontal and vertical gravel‑bed reactions, ion‑exchange systems, and glycerin injection.
Austin York has been an environmental consultant and field geologist since 2012. His primary expertise includes the characterization of impacted sites via various soil, groundwater, and air sampling techniques; providing oversight and direction of remedial activities such as underground storage tank removal, mass excavations, and in-situ remediation programs; and developing technical and regulatory reports.
Nate Hinsperger is a Senior Geologist and Project Manager in J.S. Held's Pacific Northwest Remediation group. The Pacific Northwest Remediation Group provides services to private and public sector entities, including environmental consulting, due diligence, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design, cleanup action support, and all project regulatory documentation. He provides consulting and technical support for clients in various industries, including real estate and commercial and manufacturing operations. His primary focus is managing all aspects of environmental projects from inception to site closure.
Adam Morine is a Principal Engineer with over 27 years of experience providing consulting and engineering expertise for various clientele. Adam’s experience ranges from site investigations and feasibility studies to remediation and site closure. Adam’s focus is assessing reasonable and pragmatic solutions for sites where remedial and/or institutional and regulatory approaches are required to obtain site closure. His knowledge of site investigation, remediation, and closure techniques is often applied to litigation and cost recovery cases on behalf of private property owners, attorneys, and insurance companies. Adam has been the corporate Engineer of Record for two prior organizations.
