Dr. Clint Miller is a Senior Technical Director at J.S. Held, specializing in geochemistry and hydrogeology. He provides consulting and expert services for various public and private-sector clientele throughout the United States. He has led international projects onshore and offshore in the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, the Republic of the Philippines, the East Siberian Sea, the Republic of China (ROC), and the Hellenic Republic.
Dr. Miller has led national characterization and remediation teams, written technical responses to multiple Environmental Protection Agency proposals, and designed remediation systems for many large and complex groundwater, soil, and sediment-contaminated sites. Dr. Miller also consults with transaction advisory services to develop risk and liability assessments.
Dr. Miller is the technical and project manager in the assessment, investigation, and remediation of large sites including coal combustion residuals (CCR) including appendix III and appendix IV parameters, dioxins and furans, fertilizers and pesticides, heavy metals, perchlorate-impacted rocket and missile production facilities, per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS), phthalates, polychlorinated biphenyl’s (PCBs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and many other contaminants. He is also involved in geochemical, isotopic, and statistical forensics, particularly in the development of remediation strategies and risk mitigation.
