Adam Morine is a Principal Engineer with over 27 years of experience providing consulting and engineering expertise for various clientele. Adam’s experience ranges from site investigations and feasibility studies to remediation and site closure. Adam’s focus is assessing reasonable and pragmatic solutions for sites where remedial and/or institutional and regulatory approaches are required to obtain site closure. His knowledge of site investigation, remediation, and closure techniques is often applied to litigation and cost recovery cases on behalf of private property owners, attorneys, and insurance companies. Adam has been the corporate Engineer of Record for two prior organizations.

Mr. Morine’s experience with a wide array of project and client types makes him a valuable resource when evaluating the requirements to close sites in Washington State. His projects have included a multitude of disciplines, including gasoline/diesel stations, dry-cleaners, underground storage tank releases, manufacturing facilities, automobile service stations, railroad yards, wrecking yards, hazardous waste and municipal landfills, Superfund/CERCLA sites, residential heating oil tanks, site redevelopment support, hospitals, universities, lumber yards, gun ranges, electroplating facilities, clandestine drug labs, and emergency response cleanups, among other project types.

Mr. Morine co-leads a Pacific Northwest office for J.S. Held’s Environmental Liability, Monitoring, and Remediation group. This office provides services to private and public sector entities, including environmental consulting, due diligence, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design, cleanup action support, and all project regulatory documentation. Areas of competency include site-specific soil, groundwater, stormwater, vapor intrusion, investigation techniques, data evaluation and mapping, remedial cleanup evaluations and implementation, report preparation, regulatory compliance, engineering design, remedial system operation and maintenance, permit compliance, litigation support, project management/budgeting, and internal project and systematic tracking/technical support.
