Renata Ontman has been an experienced Environmental Scientist in our Environmental, Health & Safety practice since 2019, throughout the United States and Canada. Her expertise includes conducting site investigations, preparing ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Preliminary Assessments, remedial and expert reports, performing environmental due diligence inspections, and monitoring remedial projects in the New Jersey and New York area under the oversight of an LSRP. She primarily focuses on commercial and industrial properties with multi-contaminant impacts. Renata also performs various environmental media sampling, including soil sampling, air sampling, sub-slab vapor sampling, and free product monitoring.
Renata’s key responsibilities at J.S. Held include preparing technical reports for property transactions, due diligence, regulatory submittals, cost estimates, and proposal preparation. She also coordinates and oversees subcontractors for site and remedial investigations. Renata has served the environmental remediation markets across New Jersey and New York.
She holds a Master of Science in Earth and Environmental Science from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Chemistry from Binghamton University.
