Leadership transition ensures continuity for more than $3 billion in capital construction programs across Indiana.
INDIANAPOLIS, I.N., July 1, 2026 -- Global consulting firm J.S. Held today announced that Jason Larrison, AIA, a licensed architect with more than 20 years of construction and program management experience, has been named to lead the firm's Construction Project & Program Management and Owner's Representation team in Indiana. Larrison succeeds Deb Kunce, FAIA, LEED AP, a widely recognized leader in Indiana construction project management and owner's representation, who is departing the firm to pursue the next chapter of her career.
Under Kunce's leadership, J.S. Held's Indiana practice has guided more than $3 billion in capital construction programs, advising public and private sector clients across the state. Her work has shaped the planning, delivery, and oversight of complex projects in K-12 and higher education, aviation, healthcare, correctional facilities, and public sector infrastructure, and she has been instrumental in building the multidisciplinary team that now continues that work under Larrison's leadership.
"It has been an honor to build this J.S. Held team and to serve the owners, communities, and institutions across Indiana who have trusted us with their most important capital investments," said Kunce. "Jason is the right leader to carry this work forward. He has the technical depth, client relationships, and judgment to continue raising the bar for owner's representation and project management in this state. Our clients are in exceptional hands."
Larrison brings deep experience across the full construction lifecycle, including project feasibility, preconstruction planning, master budget and schedule development, project controls, cost and value management, permitting, construction scheduling, and project close-out. As a licensed architect, he has led complex programs in education, aviation, healthcare, correctional, and public sector markets, the same sectors that define the team’s reputation across Indiana.
"Deb has built something extraordinary here, and it is a privilege to continue that work alongside a team that is among the most respected in the region," said Larrison. "Our clients rely on us to protect their interests, manage risk, and deliver projects on time and on budget. We will continue to do that, and we will continue to expand the capabilities we bring to owners, lenders, and public agencies across the state."
Larrison is supported by an experienced leadership team that includes:
"The practice Deb has built in Indiana is one of the strongest regional construction consulting teams in the country, and Jason is the ideal leader to advance it," said Michael Collins, LEED AP, Executive Vice President and Construction Project Support Services Lead for J.S. Held. "This transition reflects the depth of leadership we have built in Indiana and our long-term commitment to the owners, agencies, and institutions we serve across the state."
