Michael started as a technician with a regional civil engineering firm based in Cincinnati on large roadway and utility projects. After moving into vertical construction, Michael began working in architectural drafting.
Utilizing his design and technical experience, he transitioned into the field and coordinated project teams for a healthcare system owner. The team included designers, contractors, construction managers, facility managers, and end users.
With J.S. Held, Michael has provided project representation, construction monitoring, constructability review services, facility assessment services, estimating, and claims analysis on complex projects. A particular focus has been on owner’s representation and cost estimating on projects valued over $4.5B covering 6,000,000sf on facilities ranging from mixed-use developments, multi-family and student housing, commercial office and retail to healthcare, educational, private, and public works engagements.
