We were engaged in providing dispute support related to the termination of the EPC contractor due to delays and escalating cost increases during the project. Our analysis focused on the design progress, scope changes, alleged owner interference, and the impact of these factors on schedule, labor productivity, and project damages.
We comprehensively analyzed the EPC contractor’s performance, reviewing subcontractor management and the root causes of the delays, labor hour overruns, and damages. Additionally, we assessed the owner’s actions post-termination, evaluating the time and costs required to complete the project without the EPC contractor. Our team prepared multiple expert reports and provided expert testimony during arbitration, which resulted in a favorable outcome for the client.
