Reza Nikain has over 30 years of experience in dispute resolution, management consulting, and risk management. He has both performed and led teams in the performance of construction and engineering analyses including prolongation/delays, labor inefficiency, standard of care, and damages quantification.

Reza has been engaged on a broad range of project types ranging from transportation to energy and power, oil and gas, industrial plants, metals and mining, water and wastewater, and commercial buildings.

During his career, Reza has delivered litigation support and expert testimony in domestic and international courts, arbitral forums, and special administrative panel proceedings including: American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), and International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). He has testified in international arbitration proceedings in Canada, Mexico, Barbados, Brazil, Turkey, Poland, Curacao, Australia, the Middle East, Malaysia, Bolivia, and Taiwan.

In addition to his trial and arbitration testimony, Reza has participated in numerous ADR settings including mediations, mini-trials, and settlement negotiations.

Reza is a licensed professional engineer, as well as a Certified Forensic Claims Consultant, Certified Planning and Scheduling Professional, Certified Project Management Professional, and a Certified Construction Auditor. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering / Structures from Rutgers University.
