Held was called upon to negotiate the mitigation T&M rates with the mitigation contractor and carried out weekly progress inspections throughout the mitigation, with progress reporting provided to all principal parties. At the same time, we prepared a detailed bid package for the repairs and arranged for bidding contractors to attend the property to review ahead of the remediation. We reviewed all mitigation billing, provided recommendations to the insurer, reviewed all repair bids from custom builders, and provided recommendations based on where the market suggested the project value should lie.
