JERICHO, N.Y. – November 16, 2021 – Global consulting firm J.S. Held announced today that it has acquired ColoneyBell Engineering, a forensic engineering firm based in North Florida. This acquisition further enhances the strategic growth of J.S. Held’s Forensic Engineering Practice throughout North America.
ColoneyBell Engineering has over 50 years of combined specialized experience in accident reconstruction, roadway defects, maintenance of traffic, construction defects, and structural engineering. Founded in 1972 as Coloney Company Consulting Engineers by Wayne H. Coloney, P.E., the firm was purchased by John T. Bell, P.E., in 1996. Wayne Coloney continued to work for what became ColoneyBell Engineering until his retirement 17 years later.
