The asset acquisition of Kotzin Valuation Partners supports the strategic growth of J.S. Held’s Financial Investigations Division and expands the firm’s valuation capabilities.
JERICHO, N.Y. – October 5, 2021 – Global consulting firm J.S. Held announced today that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Kotzin Valuation Partners, a financial advisory firm based in Phoenix, Arizona that provides business valuation, intangible asset and intellectual property valuation, litigation support consulting, forensic accounting, and other specialized financial services. This acquisition supports the strategic growth of J.S. Held’s Financial Investigations Division and expands the firm’s valuation capabilities.
Kotzin Valuation Partners is composed of 14 professionals with significant business valuation credentials and financial advisory experience. Its experts are retained by major national and regional corporations, law firms, accounting firms, trust departments, lending institutions, and business owners in a variety of valuation, litigation, taxation, financial reporting, and transactional matters.

The Kotzin Valuation Partners team holds individual certifications and credentials that include Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Certified Business Appraiser (CBA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Insolvency & Reorganization Advisor (CIRA), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
