William "Bill" Zoeller is a seasoned environmental consultant with over 20 years of experience in designing and assessing remediation, mitigation, and abatement strategies following catastrophic events throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Japan, and the Czech Republic. His expertise spans water and microbial damage, fire-related impacts, and assessments of regulated materials across a broad spectrum of property types, including residential buildings, large-scale manufacturing plants, healthcare institutions, educational campuses, and multi-family developments.

In his role, Bill has conducted comprehensive evaluations to support recovery and restoration efforts, applying his scientific background to ensure effective and compliant remediation practices. His work includes expert testimony in litigation involving environmental damage, where he has presented findings related to fungal growth and water intrusion. He has emphasized the importance of laboratory quality control and assurance, referencing standards established by the American Industrial Hygiene Association to support the integrity of environmental assessments.

At J.S. Held, Bill serves as Vice President and leads the Industrial Hygiene practice within the Built Environment Service Line of the Environmental, Health & Safety division. He provides strategic oversight and technical leadership in matters involving environmental health risks, regulatory compliance, and forensic investigations.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Science from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.
