Scott Hollingsworth has substantial experience in geotechnical investigations including monitoring SPT and CPT drilling operations for proposed construction, foundation recommendations, karst activity, ground subsidence, and Phase II environmental assessments. He is proficient in soil sampling/ exploration by hand auger, and in conducting soil-engineering lab tests including proctor compaction tests, grain size distribution, soil fines analysis using #200-sieve wash and hydrometer, total organic carbon content, Atterberg limits, and Limerock Bearing Ratios.

He has been involved in the verification and monitoring of geotechnical remediation projects including grout compaction, chemical grout injection, vibro-flotation rock pile, timber pile, helical pile, and push pier installation. He is proficient in preparing geotechnical reports which include soil-boring location maps, soil-boring logs, and installation plans for remediation using AutoCAD and Winlog, and Strater.

He also has extensive experience collecting field data for Phase I environmental assessments and structural damage assessments, including drawing and annotating site diagrams, photographing structural damages, performing slab elevation surveys, and collecting subsurface data using Ground Penetrating Radar.
