Kathleen Moffit joined J. S. Held in January of 2023 as part of J.S. Held’s acquisition of AEA Group. Kathleen McKee Moffit was a Principal at AEA Group. She demonstrated tremendous leadership in all areas of AEA's business.
Kathleen is experienced in providing forensic accounting, lost profits determinations, business valuations, and other consulting services to clients in multiple industries, including insurance, construction, manufacturing, mining, banking, and health care. She has experience in employment-related matters, including WARN Act class actions, wrongful termination, defamation, and retaliation. She has experience assisting with Trustee work for Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy matters.
Kathleen has assisted attorneys with many phases of the discovery process, from case assessment and information requests to developing keyword searches and drafting interrogatories, document requests, and deposition questions to prepare for trial. She has testified as an expert witness in both deposition and trial.
Additionally, Kathleen was heavily involved in the AEA Group’s practice development, recruiting, new-hire training, and mentoring programs. Prior to joining AEA Group, Mrs. Moffit interned in the Risk Management Department at Protective Life Insurance Company.
