​Gibson Jones graduated from the Tulane University School of Architecture with a 5-year professional degree in Architecture in 1988. In October of 2004, he was conferred a Master of Architecture 1 degree from the Tulane University School of Architecture. He is accredited with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is registered in Florida, Alabama, Texas, and Louisiana. His professional background consists of over 25 years of experience in various roles: schematic design, site planning, design development, production, project management, and construction administration.

Mr. Jones has experience with residential developers, private residential clients, public entities, commercial developers, planning and zoning departments, building departments, city commissions, general contractors, financial institutions, and various consultants across all aspects of project development. Mr. Jones has applied this expert knowledge to forensic architecture assignments at J.S. Held concerning construction defects, property condition assessments, construction litigation, sources of moisture, premise liability, and building envelope issues associated with roof, windows, doors, stucco, and waterproofing details.

Mr. Jones’s experience with project types includes office/industrial parks, commercial office buildings, office / warehouse, aviation; county courthouse, public schools, high-rise luxury multi-unit residential, corporate headquarters, corporate interiors, hospitality, retail, assisted-living facilities, restaurants, residential, remodeling, and renovation.
