The venture capital-backed Company’s Board of Directors requested that our team provide an independent assessment of the Company prior to a new round of funding. The assessment was intended to review/validate management’s plans, identify any additional areas of concern, identify additional initiatives for consideration, and potentially provide assistance in implementing and/or monitoring some of these activities and/or initiatives. We interviewed more than 40 Company representatives as part of their assessment.
Our experts’ assessment provided valuable insights to management and the Board and served as the framework for the Board to refine certain operational goals and better monitor performance. The new round of funding was successful, and the Company continues its torrid growth.
