Project Cost: $700,000

A fire engulfed a two-story mixed-use structure with a finished basement located in Cleveland, Ohio. A restaurant occupies part of the first floor, and apartment units comprise the remaining space. Portions of roof covering, wood framing, decking, and interior finishes were damaged by the fire. Smoke, soot, and water from firefighting efforts caused additional damage to varying degrees throughout the structure. Selective demolition, cleaning, media blasting, and permanent repairs were required.
