The client was particularly concerned about the business environment and reputational risks of operating a mining asset in the central African country. They also wanted to understand the history of the assets they were considering acquiring and whether this would create future reputational challenges.
To inform its potential asset acquisition, the client engaged our team to provide an in-depth, long-form report on key dynamics in the central African country’s mining sector. We also performed an enhanced due diligence investigation for the client, with team members conducting in-country visits to mine sites.
