This transaction expands J.S. Held’s global Construction Advisory Practice, supporting clients throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

 

JERICHO, N.Y. – January 15, 2020 – Global consulting firm J.S. Held announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire DBSConsult, a construction claims and disputes management firm operating out of the United Arab Emirates, delivering services from its offices in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This transaction expands J.S. Held’s global Construction Advisory Practice, supporting clients throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

DBSConsult has extensive construction claims and disputes experience in a wide array of industry sectors and has been involved in the preparation, defense, and settlement of claims and disputes on many of the region’s largest construction projects.

DBSConsult will join the J.S. Held team of more than 1,500 consultants around the world. By joining forces with J.S. Held, DBSConsult gains access to additional resources and experts to provide clients with an expanded suite of technical and scientific, financial, and strategic consulting services.

Mr. Brodie-Stedman will join J.S. Held as a Senior Managing Director and lead the firm’s Construction Advisory business in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The transaction is expected to close in early Q1 following receipt of applicable approvals.
