His hands-on experience in supervision and project management of public infrastructure projects provides him with valuable insight into project dynamics and related risks.
Zaher Hmayed was a partner at Examine Construction Consultants. Prior to joining Examine, Zaher was a manager in Deloitte’s Capital Projects division, following the firm’s acquisition of Tardif Murray and Associates (TMA). At TMA he had held the position of senior consultant. In both positions, he excelled in writing, preparing, and analyzing expert reports, construction claims, and project audits and reviews.
Zaher has also held project management positions at engineering/consulting firms and with general contractors.
Zaher earned his MBA from HEC Montréal. He completed his Bachelor in Civil Engineering and his Bachelor of Laws from the Lebanese University.
Zaher is a course instructor at Perfectionnement Polytechnique.
Zaher is a member of several affiliations including the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
