Prior to joining J.S. Held, Vadim Khavinson was appointed Chairman and CEO of Capital Forensics, Inc. in 2016. In this role, he built upon CFI’s successful track record in litigation support, compliance and regulatory consulting for the securities industry and Fortune 500 companies. He was also the driving force behind CFI’s ability to remain at the forefront of advanced technologies designed to analyze big data and apply actionable solutions for clients.

With CFI, he worked closely with clients and the CFI team to provide strategies for cases and assignments. Vadim also prepared and presented expert testimony – on a quantitative basis – for a wide range of cases.

Vadim began his career at CFI in 2002, first as a data and litigation analyst, and then supervising assigned cases. During his tenure at the firm, he created state-of-the-art technology solutions, and helped to establish and grow world class consulting and forensic accounting capabilities.

More than 5 years ago, he developed The ArbSelector®, which, to date, has produced nearly 4,000 reports to assist clients in the selection of FINRA arbitrators. He holds an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Illinois, and an Executive MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University
