For the last 16 years, Tom Boyd has been providing consulting and project management for a variety of insurance losses including both commercial and residential assignments. Tom has performed damage evaluations, estimated value of total loss and scheduling for property damages including fire, flood, water intrusion, hail and many catastrophe type claims.
Tom has expertise in large loss projects, including but not limited to City and County municipalities, schools, as well as multi-building or multi-property losses from various catastrophic events such as hurricanes, tornados, major hail and wind storms throughout the U.S. Tom has spent years consulting on property claims in the public works arena working with risk managers, architects and engineers and navigating through the public bidding process.
Tom has simultaneously managed a team of consultants in Arizona and California and worked all over the U.S. when requested. He has also worked on property claims outside the U.S. in Argentina, Island of St. Maarten, Mexico and the Island of Barbuda, West Indies.
