Thomas Munson, MBA, CPA, CFE, is an Assistant Vice President in J.S. Held’s Forensic Accounting practice, specializing in economic damages and financial analysis for civil and commercial litigation. His expertise includes personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, lost profits, adverse employment actions, and family law. Thomas also has a background in business valuation, public-sector compensation, future medical expenses, taxes, and fraud.

He holds an MBA with honors from Claremont Graduate University and studied economics at Cornell University. Thomas is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.

Before joining J.S. Held, Thomas spent seven years as an analyst and director at VWM Analytics, LLC, performing economic analysis on hundreds of cases since 2013. In his current role, he manages the review and calculation of economic losses in civil and commercial matters. He has extensive experience in loss of earnings, earning capacity, fringe benefits, support and household services, future medical care costs, and adverse tax neutralization.
