Stephen Albanna specializes in forensic accounting, construction, government contract advisory, and litigation support services across the United States, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim, and Canada. With over 30 years of experience in public accounting, audit, tax, financial management, and regulatory compliance, he focuses on the construction and government contracting industries.

Stephen’s expertise includes accounting and financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, cost accounting, ERP and project management solutions implementation, restructuring financial operations, FAR, DFAR, and CAS compliance, forensic accounting, and negotiation and dispute resolution services.

Before joining J.S. Held, Stephen was the CFO of a US-based subsidiary of a $4B global construction company, overseeing financial and fiscal management activities across the U.S., Middle East, and Pacific Rim.

At J.S. Held, Stephen has experience in forensic accounting investigations, damages analysis for construction projects, requests for equitable adjustment, government contract compliance issues, and other regulatory disputes.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Radford University.
