Read MoreSheila Solis-Arroyo is an experienced environmental scientist with a specialized background in groundwater hydrology and broad domain knowledge in both data analyses and fieldwork management. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a Master of Science Degree in Hydrology, Sheila began her career as a groundwater hydrologist with an environmental consulting firm in 2020, where she performed field investigations and technical reports for large and small-scale hydrogeology studies. Ms. Solis-Arroyo has extensive experience with groundwater and surface water sampling, overseeing drill crews, and technical report writing, and is confident in technical oversight of both English and Spanish-speaking teams.
Sheila has since joined J.S. Held as an Environmental Scientist II, continuing her career specializing in a wide scope of environmental remediation efforts.
Sheila’s key responsibilities include performing Preliminary, Phase I, and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments as well as soil, groundwater, and indoor air sampling and investigations. Sheila prepares proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports as part of environmental due diligence projects and is responsible for coordinating with clients and overseeing subcontractors during on-site remediation activities. Additionally, she prepares technical reports including NJDEP PAR, SIR, RIR, RAW, RAR, and soil and groundwater permit applications and due diligence-related documents.
