Samantha Morel completed her Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami (UM). She has civil and structural engineering experience with practice specialization in reinforced concrete structures, restoration, building envelope, and façade engineering. Samantha is able to manage multiple concurrent projects from design through construction with an emphasis on restoration, primarily involving residential buildings. Samantha has experience overseeing all aspects of the typical engineering project, including surveying existing conditions, completing the budget and cost-spending analysis, design, plan preparation, specification design, report preparation, consulting during permitting, bidding, and conducting field observations of work-in-progress.
Samantha’s direct experience with civil engineering projects has encompassed many scopes, including waterproofing and coatings, completion of structural adequacy investigations and reports, and rehabilitation and reconstruction planning for individual structural components and structural systems. Samantha is committed to providing an exceptionally high level of service, working on completing projects, and making the most efficient use of resources to achieve our client's goals by ensuring cost containment and on-time performance.
Samantha is involved in estimating, project management, and on-site project monitoring. She has extensive involvement in numerous major loss assignments throughout the United States and has consulted on large, complex insurance losses in the United States and Puerto Rico. She provides nationwide consulting and expert services for defense law firms, focusing on claim dispute resolution in appraisal proceedings.
