Sagar Mhetre is an experienced forensic delay and disruption analyst who specializes in resolving time-related disputes. He advises clients on the avoidance and resolution of disputes arising from project delays and disruptions, as well as on matters relating to the planning, due diligence, delivery, and claims management of large, complex construction projects.
Sagar has assisted world-renowned delay analysis experts in preparing expert witness reports and reply/rebuttal reports on a variety of high-profile disputes involving some of the world's largest construction projects and administered by premier arbitration institutions such as the ICC, SIAC, and AAA/ICDR.
Sagar advises contractors and employers on effective project planning and management throughout the pre-construction and construction phases. He has extensive experience in preparing and reviewing delay/disruption/acceleration claims, project progress evaluation, productivity measurement, and determining the causes and effects of delay.
Sagar has worked on a wide range of public and private sector projects in the EMEA region, including power, oil, gas, chemical, mining, underground rail, tunneling, airports, and marine projects, and has previously also held procurement and pre-contract management-related positions on some of these multibillion-dollar projects.
Sagar holds a master’s degree in construction management from NTU, Singapore. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
