Ryan Renzi specializes in the structural design, analysis, and forensic investigation of buildings and other structures. He is involved in the structural design, code compliance, and construction administration of new buildings, as well as renovation and retrofit projects. With over seven years of experience, Mr. Renzi has provided structural engineering services for light commercial and mid-rise steel-framed buildings, single and multi-family residential, and educational facilities.

Mr. Renzi’s experience in forensic building assessments includes the investigation of building envelope deficiencies and water infiltration; damages caused by fire, impacts, wind, hail, and earth movement; and construction-related faults.

With J.S. Held, Mr. Renzi specializes in the forensic investigation, documentation, and repair of damaged structures. His work examines the cause and origin of structural failures, claimed damages, and building deficiencies; determines the extent of damages and feasible repairs, and produces professional engineering packages that can include reports, drawings, and calculations.
