Ryan Kilbane has expertise in effective communication through visualization. He creates visualizations to explain experts’ findings to judges, juries, and attorneys. Ryan’s casework is varied, providing experience in many areas, including vehicle accident reconstruction, use of force, 3D scene reconstruction, computer simulation, animation, photogrammetry, video analysis, and visibility.
Ryan has a background in computer-generated imagery from the film and television industry, where he worked as a visual effects artist for feature films and episodic television. He utilizes his CGI skills and the knowledge obtained while working in Forensic Visualization to reconstruct and explain experts’ findings through graphics. These visualizations communicate technical information accurately and effectively through various mediums, including two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and virtual reality.
Ryan Kilbane is a Visualization Analyst and Animator at J.S. Held. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science with an emphasis in Computer Animation from Full Sail University. Ryan has project geographical experience in the US, Canada, and Colombia and is fluent in English and Spanish.
