For over 30 years, Ronald Eldridge has overseen the development, design, and construction of some of the largest and most complex commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region. He now brings that knowledge to J.S. Held's Building Consulting service line. Having managed the pre-construction departments at two ENR Top 400 CMs/GCs, Ron is well-versed in conceptual and detailed estimating. This allows him to develop accurate Rough Order-of-Magnitude (ROM) budgets and comprehensive, trade-by-trade estimates.
After serving in those pre-construction capacities, Ron moved on to one of the nation’s premier project management firms. In that position, he served as officer-in-charge of developing many commercial and institutional (healthcare) projects in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. In this role, he oversaw the site selection, financing, entitlement, design, construction, and commissioning aspects of projects. In some instances, he also coordinated the divestiture of outdated/obsolete buildings.
Ron has sub-consulted for J.S. Held since 2010 and joined full-time in 2019. During this time, he has worked on a variety of large, complex losses around the country, taking the lead role on some and providing expert, real-world advice and support to the J.S. Held team on others.
