Philip Shechter, CPA, ABV, CVA, joined J.S. Held in June of 2026 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Shechter & Everett, LLP.

Philip has over 40 years of experience in audit, tax consulting, litigation support, and business valuation services. He has been qualified as an expert and has provided expert testimony in more than 3,000 depositions in state and federal courts, all related to commercial litigation and family law engagements.

Philip received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from the University of Florida.
