Philip is a quantity surveyor with over 35 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries. He particularly deals with the preparation and valuation of variations, claims for prolongation, disruption, and acceleration, disputed accounts, counter-claims, and damages.

Phil gained 12 years of experience with two of the UK's largest multi-discipline construction and engineering contractors. During this time, Phil carried out a full range of quantity surveying and commercial management functions on power station projects, water, and sewage treatment works, petrochemical and other process plants, and major civil engineering projects across the UK. For the past 24 years, Phil has been a consultant in claims, disputes, and expert work on major global projects.

Phil has experience acting as an expert in matters of delay and quantum in a number of disputes and in various dispute forums. This includes experience in arbitration in the UK and globally under ICC and UNCITRAL Rules, as well as in the UAE (DIAC and LCIA Rules) and Singapore (SIAC).
