Prior to joining J.S. Held, Peter was CEO at the forensic accounting firm HSNO in addition to being one of the named Partners.
Mr. Hagen is a CPA that specializes in the measurement of financial damages. His primary clientele have been insurance companies and attorneys. For insurance companies he is most often retained to measure and consult on the reasonableness of sizable business interruption (BI) claims. For attorneys he is retained as an expert to give his opinion on financial damages. Mr. Hagen has testified in excess of 50 times weighted similarly between plaintiff and defendant. Industries represented are across the board with an emphasis in energy, telecommunications, healthcare, and commercial airlines.
Peter graduated from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. He was Captain of the University’s golf team and was inducted into the Regis High School Hall of Fame in Cedar Rapids Iowa along with Kurt Warner and Zach Johnson.
