He possesses extensive knowledge in project management, dispute resolution, commercial property assessment, project planning, and cost control. His career began at Groupe Gesfor Poirier Pinchin Inc., managing commercial building assessments and supervising construction projects. He later joined COEX Inc. as a Project Manager, overseeing mid-to-large-scale renovation and construction projects for the Ministry of Transport of Quebec and other clients.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Pavel worked as a construction expert consultant at Cogerec Consultants Inc., where he contributed to preparing expert reports related to claims and dispute resolution for large-scale infrastructure projects. He has worked on major infrastructure and development projects across Canada, including roads and bridges, residential and commercial developments, and healthcare and educational facilities.
As a Consultant in the Construction Advisory Practice at J.S. Held, Pavel delivers tailored dispute resolution services to contractors, project owners, and legal teams. He plays a central role in preparing claims involving schedule delays, cost overruns, loss of productivity, and contract disputes. His responsibilities include quantifying project changes, disruptions, delays, and ensuring that all additional costs and losses are thoroughly assessed. Pavel collaborates closely with multidisciplinary experts to maintain the accuracy and integrity of claims and supporting documentation.
Pavel is fluent in English, French, and Russian. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Building Engineering from Concordia University in Montréal, Canada. He also completed a Diplôme d'Études Collégiales (D.E.C.) in Science at John Abbott College in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Canada.
