Mr. Dunlap is a mitigation/ restoration expert with over 14 years of experience in estimating and negotiating large commercial, healthcare, and government losses caused by fire, water, and storm-related damages. Patrick is highly skilled in Xactimate and holds several IICRC certifications, including WTR (Water) and ASD (Advanced Structural Drying). He is also a certified Lead Renovator and Asbestos Abetment Supervisor.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Mr. Dunlap worked for a global restoration company as an estimator and mitigation division manager, providing emergency and reconstruction services throughout the U.S. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to lead multiple Catastrophic teams during large natural disasters such as the 2010 Floods in Nashville, Hurricane Matthew, the wildfires in Gatlinburg, TN, Hurricane Laura, Hurricane Sally, Hurricane Delta, Hurricane Zeta, and Hurricane Ida.
Mr. Dunlap oversees all building consulting efforts, including estimating, planning, site inspections, appraisals, and staff support for Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
