As the Compliance Manager at J.S. Held, reporting to the General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer (GC), Nisreen's main role is to ensure that J.S. Held operates safely and ethically. The GC and Nisreen work closely with senior leadership to ensure strategies are in place to deal with compliance and privacy issues when they occur before the reputation and integrity of J.S. Held and its employees are jeopardized.

She is responsible for promoting and enforcing the Compliance and Ethics Program and Information Governance Program, which encompasses information management and privacy consistently through appropriate incentives and disciplinary measures to encourage a culture of compliance and ethics. She monitors applicable compliance and privacy-related laws and regulations, industry standards and contractual obligations, develop appropriate policies and standards and recommend training and awareness programs to promote company-wide compliance. She is also responsible for coordinating the creation, review, and implementation of policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations that impact J.S. Held as well as conduct internal audits on the effectiveness of policies. She serves as a liaison for J.S. Held to stay abreast of new regulations and industry standards to analyze impact on J.S. Held.
