Nick Sommerfeld has worked in the construction, restoration, and construction cost business, specializing in complex project valuation, construction estimating, and claim cost analysis. Nick’s consulting projects have encompassed buildings and facilities in the industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, public institutions, religious, educational, and residential sectors throughout North America.
Nick is the Southwest Regional Building Consulting Lead. In that capacity, he manages area leads and building consultants in several offices throughout the Southwestern US, ensuring optimal training, development, mentoring, performance, and service delivery to clients. Nick also serves as a lead consultant on complex projects and high-net-worth residences. Nick has extensive experience with expert reports and testifying experience.
Nick’s background before construction consulting included estimating and procuring projects, executing projects, handling client relations, and working on on-the-job problem-solving through the construction and restoration fields. His hands-on experience and prior management skills in the restoration industry have allowed Nick to accurately access any condition. Nick’s creativity and expertise have brought great problem-solving skills to both J.S. Held and our clients.
