Michelle Willoughby is an intelligence and investigations professional with experience leading and conducting complex due diligence, business intelligence, threat assessment, asset tracing, and litigation support projects throughout the U.S. and Canada. She has supported clients in a wide range of industries including the financial, pharmaceutical, media, technology, and legal sectors.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Michelle was a member of the U.S. and Canadian investigations team at a global risk management consultancy, based out of the firm’s Houston office. Earlier, she worked as a legislative aide to a member of the Texas State Senate, specializing in criminal justice and taxation issues. She also worked as a field organizer for local campaigns in Travis County, Texas.
Michelle is a member of the U.S. Business Intelligence practice at J.S. Held. She specializes in conducting public records research to provide clients with actionable intelligence in support of exposure and vulnerability assessments, pre-transactional due diligence investigations, asset traces and litigation support matters.
